CuteFTP for Windows

Before you start the configuration process, make sure your client software has been installed and is running properly. These settings are those you will need to access your account using FTP. For other accounts the settings would be different. Open the program and follow these instructions:

Note: These instructions are provided to explain how to set up this product for use with your Nu-Designs.com Web Site Hosting account. For support of the software itself, please refer to the product's manufacturer.

1. Go to the File menu and select Site Manager.
2. In the Site Manager, click on the Add site button.
    
   
    
3. In the Label for site: field, enter your name for the site.
4. In the FTP Host address enter nu-designs.com. Do not include your User ID.
5. In the Host Address field, enter ftp.nu-designs.com, again without your User ID.
6. In the User ID field, enter username@nu-designs.com.
7. In the Password field, enter your Nu-Designs.com Web Site Hosting password.
8. In the Transfer type field, select ASCII if you are transferring CGI scripts or HTML files. Select Binary to upload images, .exe, and .dll files.

   Note: Filenames cannot contain spaces. You can use an underscore (_) or dash (-) as an alternative.

9. Click OK.
