Netscape Navigator 6.0 New Account Set Up
Before you start the
configuration process, make sure the program has been installed and is
running properly. Open the program and follow these instructions:

These instructions are provided to explain how to set up this product
for use with your Nu-Designs.com Web Site Hosting account. For support
of the software itself, please refer to the product's manufacturer.
- To modify an existing
account click Edit, then Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings
and then skip to Step 4.
- To create a new
account click Tasks, then Mail & Newsgroups.
- You will be presented
with the Account Wizard window.
Check the
button next to ISP or E-mail provider, then click Next.
- In the Your
Name: box enter the name you want to appear on all outgoing mail.
Typically this is your Real Name.
In the E-mail Address: box enter username@yourdomain.com,
then click Next.
- Next to Server
Type: choose POP Mail Server from the drop down menu.
In the Server
Name: box enter mail.yourdomain.com. Click Next.
- In the User
Name: box enter username%yourdomain.com
*(please use "%" not "@"
for this step) . Click Next
- In the Account
Name: box, enter username%yourdomain.com
*(please use "%" not "@"
for this step) . Click Next.
- The Congratulations
screen should display:
User Name: username%yourdomain.com
User Address: username@yourdomain.com
If they are correct,
click Finish, otherwise click Back and fix any errors.
